Yes, Ravetree supports Agile methodologies with built-in Kanban boards, and the ability to create customizable sprints, epics, and user story's. Traditional waterfall project management methodologies are also fully supported in Ravetree with powerful Gantt charts, dependency management, and more.
Yes, any type of work item (e.g., projects and tasks) can be set to either public or private Private work items are only visible to the super admin, owner, and assignees. Public work items can be viewed by anyone in your Ravetree account.
Yes, Ravetree supports various billing models including fixed fee, and time & materials projects. Projects of any billing type can easily be invoiced.
Dependencies can be created between predecessor and successor work items, and can be viewed and updated on our powerful Gantt charts. All four dependency types are supported in Ravetree: start-to-finish, start-to-start, finish-to-start, and finish-to-finish. The assignee(s) of a successor work item are notified when their predecessor dependency has been completed. Because of the way Ravetree is designed, you can easily create dependencies between projects, tasks, sprints, or any of the custom work item types you have created.
Work items can be nested inside of other work items, including deeply nested descendants, allowing for multiple levels of sub-tasks. In fact, you can create as many levels of nested work items as needed.
Yes, Ravetree provides multiple views including Gantt charts, table views, Kanban boards, and a full-featured calendar view. The calendar view allows you to view all dates spanned by a work item, or only the start and/or end dates. The Ravetree calendar also shows events that have been created in Ravetree and on your Google or Outlook calendar.
Yes, you can build detailed project and task templates to streamline the creation of common work. Templates can include information such as budgets, bill rates, time estimates, work roles, and much more. Template work items can also be set to span actual days or only work days. This ensures that all of your tasks appear on the correct days when they are generated from a template.
